My inspiration comes from my mother Kathryn. Growing up on a small farm in Upstate, NY, I learned the value of hard work and using what the earth gives us.
Watching my mother cooking from scratch day after day, and harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables helped me appreciate the flavors and tastes of using local ingredients.
Nothing warms my heart more than sitting around a table with family and friends enjoying smiles and laughter with a fresh made meal. It takes me back full circle when I was a little girl on the receiving end of a great meal made by my mother’s hands and looking up at her smile as she was passing around the plates.
While I was attending College I worked at a local open air produce market in Florida for where we drove to farms and picked up fresh produce every morning wholesale.
Robino’s on the Spot
In the mid 90’s I had an authentic Italian Restaurant named Robino’s in Spartanburg County. I served freshly made pizzas, calzones, Italian entrees; such as veal Marsala, etc.
